Great Bend Regional Hospital offers a wide range of services designed to make it as easy as possible for you to get all of the care you need in one place. These ancillary services, which were formerly provided by Advanced Imaging Partners, include:
PET/CT Scan
A powerful, non-invasive imaging technique that helps diagnose and treat many diseases, particularly cancer.
Dexa Bone Scan
A safe, accurate and painless measure of bone densitometry, or bone mineral density. A low BMD may predict the likelihood of osteoporosis and fracture.
MRI Scan
A way of looking inside your body to obtain anatomical and functional diagnostic information. The MRI unit uses radio waves and a magnetic field to provide detailed images of particular parts of the body.
Ultrasound
Also called sonography or diagnostic medical sonography, an ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce precise images of structures within your body.
X-ray
A safe, simple, painless medical test that uses electromagnetic radiation to make images of the inside of your body. It allows your physician to view and assess the state of your bones and internal organs.
These tools will help your doctor work with you to detect and manage disease. The benefits include:
