Financial Analyst

Responsible for maintaining the supply inventory in a cost saving and timely manner.  Determines and maintains appropriate inventory levels of materials required to meet the requirements of the Facility patient census, surgical, and procedural schedules.

Major Responsibilities

  • Assist/manage the monthly close process, responsible for reconciling General Ledger accounts and performing analysis for the hospital.

  • Assist in preparation of information to distribute for the annual Financial Statement review, income tax return, Medicare Cost Report and other internal & external users.

  • Manages the information gathering and prepares most of the information for the Medicare Wage Index (annual) and Medicare Occupational Mix Survey (every three years) in coordination with the external firm that prepares these reports.

  • Assist in gathering statistical information and building a database for this information to assist in issuing reports.

  • Manages the budgeting process, sending information files to department supervisors, tracking the process, uploading the returned files to the master budget file.  Resolving any variances between the detail file and the top line budget with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the respective department supervisors.

  • Manages the budget information process with the department supervisors, sending out detail information files, answering questions dealing with variances between actual and budget.

  • Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

  • Supervises Account Payable and Payroll processing.

Top Qualifications

  • Two + years of accounting experience.

  • Bachelor degree with preferably a major in accounting.

  • Significant experience with Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to multi-task, attention to detail and organize efficiently.

Working Hours

  • Works regular business hours on a regular basis 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday, with some additional hours needed as job tasks require.

LABOR AND DELIVERY NURSE SUPERVISOR

Summary:

Serves as a member of the nurse leadership. Collaborates with leadership and staff of other departments/services, and physicians to ensure quality care is provided to the patients/families served.   • Bachelors of Science in nursing is preferred.

  • BLS is required or must be completed within first two weeks of employment.

Summary:

 

Assures the appropriate selection, dosing, administering, and dispensing of medication orders.

SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST

Summary:

 

Assist surgical team during operative procedures by arranging sterile set up of instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical cases. Assists in preparing and moving patients, as well as sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment, and rooms.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Set up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedure.

 

  • Maintains highest standard of sterile technique throughout procedure by checking packaging integrity, indicators, and opening procedures.

  • Assist throughout surgery by draping, passing supplies and instruments, dressing, and moving the patient.

  • Assists with cleaning of operating room, equipment, and instruments.

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - FULL TIME DAYS

Summary:

 

Perform the scope of Cardiopulmonary Care including continuous ventilation, airway maintenance, emergency care, and, respiratory drug administration. This department performs both pulmonary and cardiac procedures.

 

Major Responsibilities:

 

  • Provides cardiopulmonary care to neonates through adults in all facility settings.

  • Respond to all patient emergency situations such as “Code Blue” and “Code Red” patients to assist in stabilizing the patients’ respiratory status by airway management including intubation and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

  • Attend C-sections and High Risk Deliveries to monitor and provide necessary care to the neonate.

 

Top Qualifications:

 

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.

  • Maintains current Kansas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).

Operating Room Circulating RN

Summary:

 

Manages and delivers patient care in the intraoperative setting utilizing the nurse process. The Staff RN also assists the anesthesiologist and surgeon with patient-related care activities. Always works as a team member within the entire facility. Performs other duties as assigned.
