To honor the veterans in our community and thank them for their service, The University of Kansas Health System in Great Bend invites all veterans to breakfast on Veterans Day.
This year, the health system is pleased to be able to hold this event in person after the pandemic challenges of the past 2 years.
“This event is a small way the health system team in Great Bend can show its appreciation for the dedication, courage and sacrifices of those who have served our country,” said John Worden, Great Bend Campus administrator.
Veterans who served in any branch of service are invited to join their fellow vets for a free breakfast 7-10 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2022, at Great Bend Coffee, 2015 Lakin Ave. in Great Bend. Parking is available in front of or behind the building and an accessible entrance is in the rear.
