Support Group Can Help With Grief After Loss

Loss is a natural part of life, but knowing this doesn’t relieve the grief we feel when a loved one dies. For people who are grieving, a support group may be able to offer some assistance in managing their grief.

The University of Kansas Health System’s Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice is offering an 8-week grief support group. The group will meet on Monday evenings at 6:30 beginning February 21, 2021, in Great Bend. Sessions will be held each Monday through April 18, except March 14.

The course is led by trained grief counselors who will provide access to valuable resources that can help you work through the many emotions grief brings. Because grief has no time limit, this support group is for anyone experiencing grief from the loss of a loved one.

Registration is required and space is limited because of COVID-19 restrictions. For more information or to register, call 620-792-8171.
