Peter Mick, APRN
Specialties
Emergency Medicine
Peter Mick, APRN, is a nurse practitioner in the emergency department, who is also certified as a flight nurse/paramedic. He earned his Associate in Applied Science in emergency medical science-paramedic at Hutchinson Community College. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Wichita State University and his Master of Science degree as a family nurse practitioner from Georgetown University.
Mick chose the emergency department because of the unpredictability. His nursing philosophy is to treat the overall cause of the illness, not only the symptoms, and encourage preventive care and health maintenance so patients will avoid unnecessary use of the emergency department. In his time off, he enjoys working on cars, hunting, hiking, bike riding, exercising and cooking.
